Some of our posts are better handled though PM's, better yet, instant messaging. The forums are not AOL AIM, so be respectful of other peoples' right to read through here and not get bombarded with tons of personal matters (note - I'm not saying it's bad to ask questions, because that's how we all learn, but simply going on and on and on with questions is not what forum use is intended for...)

Brrr...it's 39F out right now with hard rain...must be 37F up there at Beaver right now (air temp.) Just because they stock a lake does not necessarily mean it will be good. You do have a high likihood of hooking some hold-overs, however, and that should make it well worth your time, even if you manage to buck this cold pool of air that is trailing this cold front. brr....

If you're going to catch-and-release, try a little floating rapala with ultralight gear. Little stockers will pound the heck out of it! The best place to find them is around the spot where the WDFW truck dumped them in. There have been several days where I caught & released over 30 fish in a couple of hours. It's a hoot!

This is what I'm talking about FM...

Use one that isn't too big, but not too small either...probably use common sense here; 1"er...I don't think I'd slap on a 4" jointed rapala.
