Burbot fishing

Post by Wormeater » Tue Jan 24, 2012 10:11 am

I hear everyone talk about fishing for Burbot on the Spokane arm at Buoy 5. Can someone tell the new guy where Buoy 5 is? I know it is close to Porcupine Bay.

Thanks,
Wormeater

From Porcupine, going upriver, is what they call the Narrows. I believe that Buoy 5 is just above the Narrows.

Hey Wormeater...We caught a couple of Burbot in Porcupine Bay trolling with worm harnesses a couple of weeks ago. You might want to try the mouth of Blue Creek across from Porcupine.

It's a bit of a distance for sure! There is a launch close to Ft. Spokane at the mouth of the arm.
