East side resorts/boat rentals

Post by joshswrench » Mon Aug 11, 2008 5:44 pm

The end of august I'm making a trip over to eastern washington for a family visit and my annual "old friends" fishing trip. Since it's been years since I've lived over there, I'm curious to find out what lakes have resorts that offer boat rentals. I need a boat that can hold 3 full sized adults, preferably with a motor. Or if anyone on the east side of the state wants to "charter" us out, I'd be willing to cover gas, food, beverages and probably a good tip for the capt. as well! Thanks!:salut:

Loon Lake (30 min. north of Spokane) has Granite Pointe and Shore Acres who both rent boats. The lake has bass, perch, catfish, rainbows, browns, kokanee, and lakers.
Take a kid fishing and make some reel memories.

While technically its central Washington, Mardon resort at Potholes has boat rentals that would accomodate 3 full sized adults. There is also a wide variety of fish in the lake.

Thanks for all the tips guys! The crappy part is my septic pump blew out this weekend. 2.5 g's for a new one. So I think my buddies and I will be confined to shore for the duration of our trip.
