Walla Walla Weekend Weekend

Post by wintersteelhead » Thu Jan 14, 2010 5:53 am

With the rivers all blown, my bro-inlaw and I are headed to Walla Walla this weekend ( fri-sun ) for some Pheasant action. With the lack of fish, Pheasant has been phenominal this year. Looking forward to some good hunting and good company for three days. Sounds like gerat weather for closing weekend. Will post a report & pics (hopfully success) when I return.

Wow, late season birds are soooo skittish. Ended up with 2 pheasant myself, and 2 for my bro-inlaw. Saw lots each day, but wild birds are smart and would jump 100's yards in front of us. I boned the pics, left camera at home. BTW, weather was horrible, blowin 30 mph on friday and rain on saturday.
