Area 13 near oly?

Post by Munk21 » Fri Aug 15, 2008 8:45 am

Anyone having any luck in the shelton, olympia, steamboat island, area? I can't seem to get anything but big native cutthroats. thats from both shore and a boat. I know i could go hit up the Skoke, but i personally like fishing for salty ones, where am not standing shoulder to shoulder with people. any comments would be great, Thanks.

I've been to Skok twice this year and it is elbow to elbow and net to net.So your best bet might be to launch there in Union and fish the bay in front of the Skok.

You might try the Fish Trap and Little Fish Trap. I have seen some good reports from there recently.
