Read your regs on the Edmonds fishery and visit Salmon U. Dogfish and ratfish are not the coolest fish to fight nor eat. Go for steelhead in our low rivers and aim for fresh pushes of chrome if you can find em. Many trout go into hibernation periods this time of year and just stay put until feed-time, so perhaps you should focus your efforts where it'll bear the most fruit. Rivers, I believe, are a great opportunity for fish and saltwater fishing from the beaches for SRC and resident silvers are really fun and worthwhile if you own a pair a cheap/leakproof waders or hipboots. You only need to wade out about 1-2 feet many times and cast buzz bombs if you are not a popper/fly dude. Most of all, enjoy your time spent in and around Edmonds!! :thumright KTK
