Just wondering if anyone has been fishing there and what rigs set up works for bank and boat fishing. I'm now starting to get into Saltwater fishing since most of the rivers are closed and haven't had any luck anyway. What ever you can share would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

Think Jens is going to get use to backing up the trailor? :bounce:
I haven't done it in years from a boat but we would mooch cut herring. I can't remember which tide. I have thought about going on the beach down there but one has to be very careful not to get stranded by the tide.

I used to work at Pt. defiance boathouse this is right up my alley, this time of year quartermaster harbor between vashon and maury island can produce some fish as well as mooching in 140 ft of water off of the claybanks look for the landslide that came down the hill start there. Let your bait hit the bottom and reel up 8 cranks.

Jens i talked to pt. defiance boathouse and Narrows marina both said they should have live herring within a week or so. They both get bait from the same guy so if one has bait the other usually does too.

point defiance has a nice boat launch facility, but the fishing usually seems to leave much to be desired. usually see hundreds of boats, seals, orcas, and a handfull of fish.
