hey just wondering if anyone else on the boards plays call of duty 4. i've been addicted to it for a month or so now and i was thinking it would be fun to play with some WL.com members. anyone else play?

I want that game really bad, I'm still on cod3 for the wii and I still play cod2 on the comp. What system you got it for?

i've had it for about a month for ps3 and i just got it yesterday for xbox360.
the story mode is kinda short (good, but short) but the game really shines in the online play.

I played it at a friend's once, I like it much better than COD3. Modern weapons go boom more.

I play it, dude probably one of the best games that came out in 2007. i am just gunna tell ya i have had HALO 3 for about 2 months and it is not even opened, it still has the plastic on it.

I played halo 3 but since picking up Call of Duty, I've yet to play more then 5 Halo games in about 3 weeks...

I went to GameStop with a $30 certificate from turning in old games and guess what? A USED copy is $55! I guess I'm going to have to wait for the price to fall.

hmmm i am pretty sure i bought it for $40 at best buy. even though your gidt certificate is for gamestop you might wanna just buy it from best buy, save ya $15, you know it might have been on sale, i am not sure.

It's a sweeeet game, might as well buy it asap before the hype is died down and another game takes over the Live scene..

I just bought it along with my 360 last weekend. Why does the offline multiplayer not have any bots? I was so mad I almost sold the game back. Xbox live is cool and all, but I would have to buy the wifi connection (I refuse to have cords going from room to room) and that's another $100 plus the cost of the subscription/service... By the time its all said and done I oculd have bought my baitcasting reel.

i know you dont want to have cord running everywere but in my opinion it is darn worth it! this game is the best.

Not when you've got a dog and child who don't pay attention where they're walking, plus I'd need a 75-100' ethernet cable...

Hope is on the horizon- my wife complained during lunch that she wants to download more songs for Rock Band and American Idol and is considering getting the wifi connection!

You could unplug and just stash the cord when you aren't using it...Would take all of a half minute to to unplug and stow it away....???

i actually use 125 feets of cord that leads from my router to x-box. i have 2 dogs and a ferocious kitten that gets into everything. as lone as you can keep the cord in the corners and run it to your x-box it is fine. i know i am preaching to the qior here but still.

The thing that bugs me the most about the game is the guys who come on with their microphones and play music or use the f-word like it was the only word they know. Last night I came into a game and one of the players with a mic just repeated over and over "All you ni**ers get out of the game!" So I left.

Yep some of those kids just get on their and turn it into a match of who can swear the most and what not....
