Posting E-Mail Addresses

Recently, I have seen several members posting their own e-mail addresses on the forum. This is unnecessary for members to do. The site is set up so that you can e-mail a member without displaying your e-mail address on a thread. This is for your privacy and protection against crank e-mails sent by someone who is a non member viewing your forum post.
Communicating by Personal Message is preferred by most members. Here is how registered members can send an email or personal message (PM) to another member:
Click on "Members"
Find and click on the members name who you want to e-mail.
The members 'profile' will come up.
Up in the left hand corner, there will be a button where you can send them an e-mail or personal message (PM)
By doing this, you will protect yourself from advertising your e-mail address literally to the whole world.:thumright

I'm not sure if they can access the forum..... Aaron could confirm that.
BTW-
Fishing reports can be accessed by doing a Google search. I discovered this by Googling myself. A fishing report that I posted in Sept. showed up in the results of typing in my own name.
Therefore, when posting a report, don't post anything that you don't want advertised to the world (personal information, etc). Employers will often google their employees names to see what they are posting on the internet.

Some large companies have a staff that just monitors the internet.
For those old enough to remember,
"1984" is here my friends.
