It is all in how a person interprets a word. Can't really lock a thread for someone's misinterpretation of a word or meaning.
NOW, I WOULD VOTE FOR A NATIONAL CAPS LOCK DAY, JUST BECAUSE WE NOW KNOW IT ANNOYS YOU,
Bionic_one.
Just kidding.........relax[wink]

I failed to add a smiley. I'm not upset at all, text just doesn't have voice inflection in it. :chef:

It can be a close call between offensive and acceptable, and that comment did come close enough to the line to get one wet. comment deleted.
BTW, I'm waiting to see if Patty thinks sportsmen are worth targeting ads toward, so far, the answer is no, at least for this site. We get these ads served to us from a third party (no pun intended).

I kinda figured you weren't but some people get mad over silly stuff... Then me being me had to add some humor. I saw that commercial a couple weeks ago inter-mixed between the political ads when I was home sick. It totally made my day!

I was taught to never judge a book by its cover...
I still voted for him...
:bounce:
My votes have been sent in so all we can do is sit back and wait to see the results.
I wish there was a button on your tv you can push that says "I Voted!" and all the political ads will stop airing!

That's all a person can do. Vote for the one you think will do best. It's the democratic process.
What really bothers me is the massive amounts of money that is going into political campaigning. Wouldn't it be better to apply that money to something like our education system or fixing our infrastructure?

prejudiced against people with imperfections, huh? let the flames begin! :geek:
agreed on the political ads, even if this site is getting some of the funds. Come on Patty, toss some our way!

Marc, does that mean you don't check off the $1 on your Fed tax return?

It's not $1.00, it is $3.00.
I have in the past, but with the latest Supreme Court decision, the entire picture of campaigning has changed.

I like the commercials with the fear mongering against the sale of 'hard liquor' stating that 1 in 4 convenience store will sell to minors.
Uh... How is that any worse than the beer they already sell to minors?

I think the truth has been stretched a bit there. I worked in a store in California while in the service. I once carded a woman that was 35 years old.
The real problem lies with adults buying liquor for minors.

coming from a state that had independant liquor stores, I remember thinking it was the strangest concept, that only the state could sell liquor.

Dude... I get in SO MUCH TROUBLE with the wife specifically due to that issue

I DONT, I think they all should use THEIR OWN PERSONAL MONEY to pay for their campaigns.
