Green river chum
I might head down to the green river for chum.I've never been down to the green but I've heard metzler park is really good, if you guys have any tips or spots to go to id love to hear. Thanks!
Re: Green river chum
Use any bait you want, as long as its raw shrimp. Tip a pink jig with it and float in under a Bobber, and hold on!
Re: Green river chum
Yup, showed spoonman that drift this year. Metzler or Highway 18 stretch is the places to be. It's not a technical deal, bobber and jig with shrimps. Shouldn't have to try too hard. Not a lot of fish that you'll want to take home, but there are a lot of fish.

Re: Green river chum
Has anyone been out recently? Are there still chums in the river?? Looking to get out for a few hours this weekend
Re: Green river chum
Hooray I just got done with my ban and I can post again! Phew...
Anyways I just wanted to say that the river is producing great winter runs already and that you should get out there. Most of the rotting flesh has washed away and not only does the river smell nice it is fishing well to. I would recommend areas between Georgetown and black diamond .
