Ok, so here are a few pics of the most likely things you will catch in the Cedar. If you look closely you will see that I have been experimenting and using plastics. Make sure you get and use unscented plastic lures, they can be hard to find these days. Contrary to popular belief, you can get suckers to take a lure, it's been quite some time since I foul hooked one.

You'll notice a large number of sucker pictures. Well the ratio of trout to suckers in the river seems to favor the suckers by a very wide margin. You'll end up hooking them at the tail end of your drift.

the pest of the river. try white and peach combo yarnies looks like flesh and the trout will take it #4 hooks and 6lbs leader.
If it looks fishy, Then fish it, If it dont look fishy, fish it anyways. <')}}}}><

so any techniques or what to use to catch the sucker fish?
Today she met me at the door, said I would have to choose, if I picked up that fishing rod today, she'd be packing all her things and she'd be gone by noon....well I'm gonna miss her when I get home

As you may have seen, they will pick up plastics as long as you fish them on the bottom. I've caught them float fishing a tube jig and side drifting yarn balls, mini hoochies, etc. The real key is to get your lure down, you'll find that the trout like it down there as well.
