RE:WOW!!!!
Good vid! I nursed a couple of CAT 3512s this last weekend on a tug, the timing is interesting. CAT CEO wants "HONESTY" to come out of Washington and for politicians to check their politics at the door. Sadly, we all know that isn't going to happen. We as individuals just gotta move forward, do the best we can. This is a "Hamburger Hill" for some of us, gaining ground one day then losing it the next. Individual persistence is required. It's tough to keep trudging forward only to get pushed back but you've got to keep at it.Marc Martyn wrote:5CPCRXT3xk0

Where are you Dog? Operation Twist stirred the markets today, DOW looks to be closing to 500 points under. PMs took a dive, my silver took a huge bath today. I sold some tech stocks this morning due to get the hell out.

RE:WOW!!!!
Other good news is that the US dollar went up, everyone was selling and getting the greenbacks.

At least the old lucky $2 bill in the wallet is worth a tiny bit more today than a couple days ago. I think...

RE:WOW!!!!
GEEEZ, these computer programmed algorithmic trading flares or whatchamacallums give me ulcers. One or two days down big then complete reversal. Ya, I know, Greece this and that.
Why don't we just get it over with and get the mess outta the way and move on? Can't tread water forever. And the longer this treading goes on, the less my $2 bill is worth.
Guess I'll go look at PBKEF.PK That Bakken oil's gotta be worth more than my $2 bill in the future.
Shoulda bought gold when DOG did...
DOG- U and Atlas have a thing or two in common.
7 day workweeks are looking like my near, mid, and longterm future.
:pale:
Aint never gonna be able to "retire" with these markets...
What ever happened to a whole day 'spent' FISHING?
Speaking of spent...![Sleep [sleep]](./images/smilies/msp_sleep.gif)

Re: WOW!!!!
DOG-
So we gonna hit $16.5 trillion or 13,000 hits on this thread first?
I just don't see a bright economic future for my 9 year old.
$16+ trillion and the 'solution' is to either spend a bunch of money blowing the deficit higher to 'grow' our way out of it (trying that one right now) or else cut a bunch of tax revenue money blowing the deficit higher...
Something tells me Keynes is doing this from his grave
.
The Fed is drunk on growth at any cost as a fix-all vehicle. Or I mean a delay-all vehicle.
If you want to see ugly debt and are tired of Europe, look at Japan...
Might be our future? Wonder where they're headed in the next 10 years.

The raise is soooooo inappropriately, appropriated IMHO!!
Are they (congress) unable to take a cut, during a time when cuts across the board are required? Is there a feeling of entitlement in our Congress?
