Agree 100 %... I wish they would implement the gear must be moving rule again and actually enforce it.... If gear is moving , it cant sit in the mud, or even under a float rule isn't so terrible but does away with spoons and spinners.... I don't know if there is a clear fix for the Samish fishery or not..... It used to be a great fishery that took very little tackle to fish if you were just fishing eggs and the crowds used to be much smaller..... I just don't agree with the video and saying using jigs is snagging due to many who see it may think that on all rivers and all species and that just isn't the case.

Hooya!!!! First samish king of the year today! Fish were moving thru and sitting around not biting very much. Group of 3 had 5 hookups "legit biters" with eggs and 1 to the bank. Dad has the pic on his phone, I'll try to get them on here.

Another 1 fish day, idk how to add photos from an HTC onto here but it was a 13lb hatchery buck. Nice and chrome
