This seems to be sorta an ongoing thread about the economy. Thought I'd share some good news, possibly great news, time will tell. Just rcvd a call from a head hunter with a job offer, Chief on a tug. This morning we were beginning the process of closing our HVAC co of 7 1/2 years. This afternoon, a job offer pops in! I feel pretty damn lucky in work and fishing. Hopefully this one will be a "good to go" job. Wish me luck.

and a OMG !!!! ... the US dollar is at 77 cents !!!!

Not looking good for Greece! Gold and Silver pretty much stagnant, it should be going down, typically runs inversely against the dollar. Looking for an opportunity to buy!

Should of, Could of , Would of! Actually I should've bought silver in that time frame, in 09' silver was down to 10 bucks, it's low 40s right now. Gold was half of what it is today.

Yep, I should have bought Apple when it was about $7.00/share but money was tight and my wife didn't want to risk the stock market. Then came iTunes, the iPod, the iPhone and of course the iPad. The rest is history..

How was that helping the people losing their jobs and homes!

Washington needs to get companies to stop sending jobs overseas and put people back to work in our own country, period.

i dont know who it was ... like i said was just a lil blerb in something i was reading .. but it was some college educated guy .. get'n pay'd WAYYY more than me ... and i'd believe someone like that before i'd believe some clown at a bar or sumthin quak'n about stuff like they "know" what's go'n on !!! ...

i "knew" before i saw that .. that the speculaters had their fingers in it .. just like i "know" that short traders speculaters and targeted machine trade'n guys were take'n HUGE proffits off the top of my gold DANG NEAR EVERYDAY .. <shrugs> .. i got the right ... i could be a "trader" do all the shorts 'n puts ect ... SO DO YOU !!! .. SO DO THEY !!! ...

buttttt the point (which i didnt make too clear i guess) .. if ya "know" anything about how that system/mess usualy works ... the ones get'n pushed out are the mom 'n pop type gas companies .. play'n the futures is a way to insure that they have adequate suplies 1 .. and 2 that by "play'n" it sorta evens out and slows the reaction to price fluctuations ... so they dont end up sell'n gas that costs them more than theyre charge'n or versa visa ... ya get me ? ... soooo most of the future supply of oil is be'n controled by big oil 'n speculaters !!! .. WELL ??? what do you "think" they want the price of oil to do ??? (it's bk upto $90 bye the way)
