A small three acre lake that is very heavily stocked with trout in the spring through fall months. A few largemouth bass have been reported taken from the lake, but since almost everybody either flyfishes for the trout or fishes paste baits for them, the bass are almost never incidentally taken. To reach Alder Lake, go slightly more than seven miles north of Florence and just past Buck Lake which is adjacent to the west side of Highway 101. Alder Lake will be to the south (almost to Buck Lake) and Dune Lake to the north. P Heley
