This beautiful desert lake has rainbow trout that have been know to grow to a husky size. It also is a good skiing and jet skiing lake but they seem pretty nice to leave you alone. There are two resorts plus the state park on
the lake. It is full of beautiful rainbows. Trolling works for the spring plants but still fishing at the south end of the lake nets you the big ones. Power bait works best. Pearrygin lake also has good shore fishing but you
mostly get spring plants. A lot of the standard campsites are right on the water.

Directions: First way is east over Hwy 20 to Winthrop. Follow signs to park thru town (2 miles). Second way is east over I-90, north over Hwy 97 (Blewett Pass), thru Wenatchee and Chelan to Hwy 173 at Pateros. Go north on Hwy 173 to Winthrop. Follow signs thru town to the state park and resorts.
