This is my first post and my first time fishing this lake. I love this lake. You don't have to fight with ski boats or jet skis. I started off around 6:00 AM for trout. I trolled everything I had: wedding rings, spoons, kastmasters, spinners, rooster tails and nothing. I switched to Power Bait around 7:00 and had my first fish in 20 minutes or so. A nice 14". I got another bite about 8:00 but that was it for trout. So I switch to bass. I was using a devil horse around the fallen trees. I got 4 fish that were about 10" and 10-12 fish that were 4-5". The devil horse was longer that the bass. I didn't see any hogs but I saw school after school of the 4" bass. I know the big ones are there, Its just finding them. A beautiful quiet lake.

A friend of mine caught a 8 pounder right off the swimming area with a trout spinner. I've caught plenty of taged bass in there from 1.5#-4.0# each size had a different color tag in her. Good luck out there the lake has a lot of bass fishing pressure.
