I took my dad to Rimrock today to go see how many silvers we could catch. We started out at nine in the morning with a slip bobber with a wedding ring with maggots fishing from shore on the point. We caught nine trout between the each of us. My dad caught a beautiful cutthroat that was 13.5 inches. we didn,t have much luck until around 1:30 in the afternoon when we lost a huge silver (looked bigger then the cutthroat) and then started getting into the action with a total of 20 silvers between the each of us with the smallest being 10 inches. It was an overall good weather day, better than saturday when I was up at dog and it was sleeting.

Does the wedding ring dangle below the bobber? How do you breath life into the wedding ring when ysed ub conjunction with a bobber? Slowly reel in?

I let the waves take it with the slip bobber so it workes it then because the waves were pretty big

Which point do you fish off? Near the boat ramp? And about how deep that day? Are you using a whitefish fly on the wedding ring or just a bare hook with maggots? I remember fishing there as a kid but can't remember for sure where. Like to try it again for old times sake.
Thanks for any help.

Fish behind the back of the lake and where people go there is an old road back there but people park on top and walk down right to the lake. I was fishing 5-7 feet that day with a bare hook and a maggot.
