Another day at echo lake with my daughter and a fellow fisherman by the name of david who i have seen a few times now at echo. Was pretty busy today 6 people fishing the lake before i got there. 1 group had caught a 14" they said and after i got set up i saw them pull in another one maybe 10-11" or so. David did catch a fish with his wifes poles as they were getting ready to leave just bouncing a worm off the bottom during retrive. Once they left i moved over and not even 5 minutes landed a nice 14" fat rainbow and about 40 mins later landed another 12" (measured at home). the 14" was prolly a good pound. After that no bites....or so it seemed nothing visual on my poles but my hooks kept comming up baitless....sneak fish. Anyways had fun..tough to fish on the weekends with so many people fishing with swimmers every now and then. Hopefully I have time to get back there tomorrow :)
