A perfect Indian-summer day which should have made for many fun hours on the lake. However, after less than two hours our trolling motors died. Turns out we had a broken wire and the batteries had not recharged from last weekend. Sigh.
We didn't think we wanted to try to row back to the boat ramp so we only fished 11-1.

The sun was out and the wind was slight. Air temperature was 60 degrees and water temperature matched it at 60F.

No big fish today, but K. boated a decent LMB. (Only one of the trip). K also claimed a prize for the most fish with a total of five (four rainbows). I boated 3 fish (1 rainbow and 2 small cutthroat) and poor P. - 1 trout. Should that warrant a booby prize?
