With all of the cold water carp reports on here I thought I should add one for the warm water fishermen. Hit Silver on Saturday afternoon. The day was warm with almost no wind and I know this type of day will soon be gone. I caught 11 largemouth with the largest about 2lbs. Not much for size but I was just glad not to get skunked. Caught 9 on tube in shallow water and the final 2 came on a buzzbait within 100yds of the boat launch.I broke one off that was around 2 1/2lbs when it wrapped itself around a chain on one of the docks. I saw 2 tigers up shallow but they wanted nothing to do with me. The water was 54-55 degrees and very clear.

CCTMark I always enjoy your reports. It seems that you and I fish a lot of the same waters. I had to chuckle a little at this report because of some thing that my grandfather told me over 50 years ago. He said "always pay attention during the telling of a fish story, nobody has ever lost an even pound fish, every fish that is lost always weights an extra half pound". Check it out with your fishing buddies while they are telling a story some time. Thanks for the report and the chuckle.
