K. and I fished 12-5pm. Water temp had risen from 69 to 74 degrees and it surely got the LMB moving. It was exciting to see tons of little, bitty bass schooling. Maybe more than we've ever seen. Only problem was we couldn't find the big ones and even had some difficulty getting small ones to bite.

Had about 73 degree air temp and mostly sunny skies with windy conditions the first half of the day and then it went almost calm by the time we wrapped up. We were a little disabled due to a broken depth sounder.
Couldn't trouble shoot it, even with the manual so perhaps after ten years a new one is in order.

I beat K. by one fish. I suppose considering it's size, I should even count it ..........but I will. I also got the largest fish (though not big at 11"). I caught and released 12 fish - all bass. K. boated 11, 4 pumpkinseed the rest bass.
I did see one really nice bass who leisurely looked at one of my lures and swam on by. He was NICE!
And I had one nice trout swirl on a lure but didn't take it. 23 fish graced the boat and gave us a good time.

Enjoyed a baloney sandwich and a beautiful day.
