It was a pleasure meeting you. I've spoken to a few anglers here at the lake, but you seem most knowledgeable and obviously you've been very productive. I thank you again for all the tips and advice you had. I unfortunately didn't manage a carp, with the winds this strong, it was really difficult to spot them. I'm a catch & release guy and I know how it stresses trout more than most species when they are hooked so I might not try to target them as much. I'm just glad that I managed to catch one a few days ago. It's really interesting to learn about the techniques and approach people use for certain fish. I'm on a personal mission to catch at least one of each species, so I'm glad to hear about the different possibilities at Green Lake. I didn't know that perch and bullhead catfish were in the lake, so it'll be interesting trying to catch those too. So far, I've managed to catch channel catfish, rainbow trout, and a lot of largemouth bass. Again, it was really nice to meet you. Hope to see you around the lake.

10/30/2014 4:10:00 PMBeautiful catch. Those are some nice looking rainbows. I will have to hit up that lake.. looks way fun. I assume they have extend season like the other recently stock lakes? hhc1482, that is neat how you want to catch and release one of every species. I used to be catch and release back in my hometown of KS but catch and release is almost impossible with bait. Perch are way fun to catch. I know for next year that Pine lake has a lot of Smallmouth bass those are way way fun to catch. I do not know if my tactics from KS work here but I am willing to share any knowledge I have.
