So I've never fished in the sound yet so I booked a charter trip for this morning and had a blast. Not 2 minutes after the pole is in the water and fish on. To my surprise it was a King and it was safely released. Not 5 minutes later and another fish on and it was another King who was also promptly released. After about an hour of watching others catch fish it's my turn again and we get a triple. One was lost but I landed mine and so did one of the others. After that the bite totally died. We had two other fish lost to the seals and mine looked like he had a run in with a seal at some point too.
All in all it wasn't a bad day. I need to make friends with people who have boats because that was a blast.
