Arrrgh shiver me timbers and blow me down!! Holy smokes I'm glad I didn't get the boat out this morning! I checked winds yesterday and apparently it changed overnight lol. Went down to fish a local beach at 530 am and looked at the 2-3 foot white capped waves rearranging the shoreline and decided to enjoy my coffee in the truck awhile. Finally got out with some courage and no common sense to cast a few just to see and talked with another gentlemen before I called it. After a few hours of errands I ventured back down at low tide, still windy and rough but a few guys out so I decided to give it a go. In ten minutes first 6 lber beached, 30 ish minutes later number 2! One hour and done! If you don't have enough lead today it'll be like the old saying goes..." Don't pee into the wind ". It was a lot of fun seeing others hook into these feeding frenzy coho today, maybe tomorrow will be the same in the boat if conditions allow as I also want some fresh crab.
