Started fishing around 8:30am. Used an ultralight rod with 4lb test, casting a small mepps spinner. Lots of hits, and even more follows, but the fish were all pretty small. Had two on that that jumped and threw the hook (the downside of the single point, barbless hook selective gear rule). Saw a couple large trout living in the deep hole underneath the bridge, but couldn't get them to do anything more than take a quick look at anything I threw at them. Fished for about two hours, but by then the sun had gotten high enough in the sky that the fish had turned off.
