Think I know where you are :-) I heard silvers are on their way and a few were in this last week. One regular said he hooked a nice winter steelhead that ripped him and broke him off but that was when the water was coming up on Sunday. I normally owuldn't necessarily believe a person saying that this time of year but this guy I believe. If we're talking the same place. Good luck.

Nice catch OL GREY DOG, not able to decipher what is in the second picture. Perhaps a piece of fish cooked to look, taste, and smell like steak? I a bottle of steak sauce was placed in the picture, I think that would really throw off the guesses! LOL

LOL 'OL. Reminded me of Bill The Cat (PFFTT or THPPPBT or whatever he used to say). Nice fish. I think the smoked salmon looks delic as long as it aint too dry which is what the camera angle did to it (I let mine cook too long/hot last batch- turned out drier than I wanted). Looks like HEAVY smoke just the way I like! What kind of chips did you use?
If you need anyone to help you 'test' that smoked salmon let me know ;-) Keep up the reports and yes it would be cool to have a secret river/spot section! Good idea....
