So fished a large section of the river, worked my way from the sakte park to the creek. Had a couple real nice hook sets along the way but fishing light gear I wasnt able to turn them out of the fast water. Oh well tight lines made the day worth while. I fished the Barrel by the creek for a few minutes but just couldnt shake the feeling that I was more or less cheating. not to hard to catch a fish in a three foot channel. Oh well. I did see several very bright chromers come out of there all day long. I am thinking that I missed many many fish in the faster water, they where FLYING up the river to the hatchery. One of theose days where I was a half second to late on my hook sets.
