Its Memorial Day Weekend 2022, so grab the family head down to the Snake River for some Slab slaying. It turn out it was a good plan. My friend Sy suggested some fishing holes, and we also did some searching and eventually found a spot for the a good bite. The weather was stormy for us, but we took advantage of the open window for 1-2 hours during evening bite. Simple setup, 6lb monofilament with 1/16 oz. jigheads and curly tail grub tip with crappie nibbles did the trick for us. See video

Nice report, thanks! With gas prices being what they are I can only enjoy that kind of fishing through watching it on videos like yours! lol Sure wish it wasn't a 10 hour drive to that area, it was only 7-8 hours when I lived in Vancouver but now I live up near Olympia. Hopefully gas prices will come back down in the future and I can make a trip there, thanks for sharing!

Good job catching from the bank. Who needs a boat when you have skills.

Thank You BULLPINE for watching. Yes, you can definitely catch Crappies from shore. We had some suggestions of areas to fish, but we just happened to stumble upon this cove where the Crappies are at. We definitely had fun. Thanks again ??
