3/31/2023 6:46:49 AMBaldginger - A few years ago we would spank the eyes pretty good this time of year. Mostly catch and release because they were too big to eat. It seems the eyes may be staying further down river than in previous years. Last year I hit Rufus at the end of April and into May and the results were just OK. I spend most of my time on the Arm but when it gets blown out with muddy water Rufus is a nice place to visit. I just need to learn it better.

3/31/2023 7:01:11 AMWhen the flow is up and they are schooled up in the obvious current seams and slack water you can wail on them for sure. We end up releasing a lot of overs as well on Rufus. They just dont eat that good over 22 anyhow. Great piece of water to go grind it out for a double digit big mama walleye. So much water to learn and fill in the detailed contours autocharting that spot on the spot The search must continue
