Met 2 other kayak angler at Panorama Point and headed out for opening day at Baker lake. Fishing was amazing. Fished up with the fleet on the opposite side of Noisy Creek, so not as many boats, but still a lot. Fish were holding at about 35 feet. I wound up getting my last fish where no one else was, in 60 feet or water closer to Swift creek. Had marked a bunch of fish there on my way up so wanted to check that out. Used Macks Lure 8 inch Double D dodger and 9 inch Sling Blade, followed by Macks Lure sockeye smile blade gear wirh and without a hoochie. Lots of fish up there, and you don't have to fish with the fleet.

I don't know how to post a report but I thought folks here should know this information.

Two 14 lb. Sockeyes were passes over the Baker Lake.

Either fish, if caught would be a new state record.

Good luck.
