Mike and I hit the water at 0830 hrs and had 4 fish over 18 inches boated by 0930 hrs. Had a mishap on the kayak and had to call it a day early. The most effective presentation was a pink Loony Spoon. Of course we had to remove the bard, but didn't seem to impact the hook up or the land rate. Looking forward to getting ack out to Munn! We got one picture, and the fish was safely released by Mike. This is a selective gear lake and it is catch and release only!

Nice fish. It will probably die in a few weeks after rubbing the slime off it from the dry boat under it. 5 seconds out of the water, max- if releasing properly for survival. Fish pictures while in the net are acceptable also...... https://www.bishfish.co.nz/articles/general/releaserules.htm

https://anglingunlimited.com/safe-responsible-catch-release-fishing/ Lots of fun, especially on a fly rod. remember to file off the barb on the hook. Makes it a lot easier to release while in the rubber net in the water.
