In between my walleye trips to Moses Lake, Potholes, and Banks Lake, I have had a few trips on Rufus Woods. The fishing has simply been outstanding at Rufus. Most of the rainbows have been running 2-3 pounds, but we have got a few that have topped the scales at 8 pounds.

Rapala Shad Raps have been the go to bait for me.

On all of my trips to Rufus I also target walleye. The great thing about Rufus walleye is the fact that every fish you get is a quality fish.

Rufus Woods is an amazing body of water. Not only is the fishing fantastic, but the scenery is off the charts. Mule deer, bald eagles, turkeys, you name it, you see it while fishing Rufus Woods.

This fishery will not slow down. It will continue strong all through summer.

I have trips available in July if you would like to experience Rufus Woods fishing and the awesome scenery is has.

Nice pics! Where is the pic taken with the man and women? Looks much better launch than I experienced.

That second picture was taken at Crescent Bay on Lake Roosevelt. The Corps of Engineers had been working at the Seaton's Grove boat launch so I had to clean their fish in a different location.
