Sooo, besides all the trees along the bank being chopped down and mass construction around the lake. Turns out some dumb ass contractor at the college hooked the sewage line , up to the storm water pipe that drains into the lake. That went on for most of January apparently. I didn't know this until I showed up to the lake. It's too bad, farewell awesome bass lake. No cover to spawn in and turds floating around. Perfect!!

I had heard about the sewage problem. They didn't immediately figure out how sewage was getting into the lake, so that's why it took so long to fix. Too bad. Fish need cover and birds need nesting habitat. The project should have been limited to upgrading the asphalt path around the lake, which had deteriorated and perhaps putting in a fishing dock. Eventually, the brush will grow back but you won't see me fishing for bass there for a long time.
