Attempted to fish Battleground Lake today from shore but it had an annoying translucent sheet of ice that would refreeze as soon as you casted. The boat fishermen were crushing the ice and that is all you could hear. I was very disappointed since I drove from Snohomish County (Lynnwood). The Wildlife agent made an appearance as well and even was able to earn $109 because some moron was fishing without a license. Would somebody actually fish in a state park without a license. Maybe that $109 could go to pick up some of the garbage that was laying in piles around the lake. If I am ever in the area again I might check it out but chances are probably not. Note to editor: The spell check feature is awesome! More people should use it!
