My partner and I fished Pass from 10am to 2:30pm and we had a little luck. My partner caught six small browns in the 10 to 12 inch range casting a soft hackle. I was stubborn and fished chronomids and had several take downs and one hookup. I pumped the stomach of the larger fish and noted many barely visible scuds and a couple of bleached chronomid shucks. Most of the fish we marked were shallow and suspended in the 2 to 8 feet range. I trolled a black slump buster on the way back to launch and caught a nice 14 to 16 rainbow that had two olive/red butt and still wiggling chronomids size 16 and a lot of the small scuds. The water has warmed up to 47.5 degrees and we are on the verge of some really good fishing.
