cast out with some power bait, about ten minutes later my line went slack and then started going out again so i set the hook and wow, i didn't expect to hook anything that quick. when the fish started stripping line off my reel i knew it must be big, I've never had a trout out of this lake pull that hard before. it jumped once, I'd say it had to have been about 4 pounds and maybe a little over 24" but about 15 minutes later i had it almost to shore and it came off. wind started blowing too hard to fish after that. I'm going back as soon as the weather is to my liking.
