Rumor has it that there was a 13 1/2 pound 30 something long German Brown caught in the Wenas Lake recently. We heard from the fishing (grape) vine that it made the Channel 35 TV News and that there were witnesses to the weighing and measuring.
We have not however seen any proof of this in the store at the resort. If anyone knows who caught it and the angler can show some proof of the measure and weight the fish would qualify for the $100.00 cash prize fish board which will be paid after December 31, 2003.
