My Dad and I decided to give Lake McMurray a try on Friday hoping to avoid a possible Memorial Day rush for the weekend. When we arrived there were only two other rigs parked at the WDFW parking area. We went out to our preferred still fishing area and tried a few different colors of Powerbait. It took a few hours before we had our first fish, a nice 13" rainbow. We did not catch any more still fishing, so we decided to do like most other fishermen were doing, that was to start trolling. We put on our olive woolly buggers and in a few more hours we had our limits. All the fish were between 11 and 13 inches in size. We had a few lost at the boat, but once again, limited at Lake McMurray. As I've said before, I'll be back.
