My wife insists that I give this day a 5. We hit the lake at 10:30AM and it was windy enough that we wore jackets all day. We fished for 4 hours and had great luck, at least my wife did. We both used black Wooley Buggers with a small split shot and 40' of line out and trolled as slow as my electric motor would allow. My wife caught 9 while I managed just one. No more than 5-6 boats on the lake. All the rainbows were between 13 & 14" and weighed 1 1/4 pounds and fought like hell. Again when I cleaned them the stomachs were empty. A great day. Total score for two days fishing--wife 15, me 2. Oh well, at least I am a good guide.
