Well this is from my annual once a year trip to silver lake resort. The continuing mission to catch a trophy large mouth bass. First off I have to thank Patty and all the wonderful staff at Silver Lake Resort They are first class all The way.
Ok the fishing adventures. Frapachino and I worked the bass fishing as hard as we could using everything you can use for a bass. (spinners, jiggs, tubes,and everything else)
Dad and Fish Princess (Frapachinoes' Daughter) Used the (put the pole in the holder, forget your fishing, and drag a worm two inches under the water attempting to snag every lilly pad in the lake method) Note: Dad was able to catch two small crappie while sleeping at the same time. Fish princess attempted the sleep and fish technique with no success. (skunked)
In the end Frapachino Was able to catch two small bass using a cast and retrieve method with a lead head plastic minnow. In the last hour of our trip I finally switched to the same thing and was able to catch a nice but small bass. (largest fish of the day)
This was a great trip, My only gripe Is I really would have liked to meet and shake Dave's' hand.
