Rick and Sherrie here, we fished from two pontoon boats all over the lake. Tried Lots of lures but found a little trout colored silver and red lure worked best. It was spoon shaped and the Goldens loved it. Yes I said Goldens, the most beautiful trout I have ever seen. We check the identification pictures in the Washington State rules manual, these were California Goldens, the fins are unmistakable. Caught and released all the Goldens, and one Bull trout. Kept one Brown and one Cutthroat for dinner. We were camped for a couple of days there, and fished all day long. During the hot part of the day, they didn't bite as well, but still an occasional strike. It was a great experience and we will go back next time we get the chance.
