We arrived around 9am, usually this lake is better fished in the afternoon/evening or at night. This has still held true because for the hour and 45 minutes we were there my buddy only hooked one that got off about 10 feet from shore. There used to be a tall tree where the some of the best fishing was but this tree has been blown over and is now in the water. I was hoping this would make a good shelter for the fish. I've also heard this lake has been rehabilitated a couple times over the last 10 years so who knows how many fish are actually in there anymore. It does get fished pretty regularly as well. We tried worms, Gulp Corn (which was the only thing that got action), and powerbait.
