There has been a pretty good algae bloom the past few weeks at Pass, but if you don't mind cleaning the fly frequently the fishing has been okay. We arrived at the lake around noon and there was a pretty good breeze from the north end. The stormy weather and cooler temps over the past few days has broken up the mats of algae pretty well. The surface water temp has fallen quite a bit. We had three strikes with one hookup on the first pass down the road side of the lake. We never left the launch area of the lake out to the grassy point due to the wind. Slow trolling sinking tip line with bead head olive buggers provided pretty good action for two hours. We netted 7 and LDR'd three. All 10-15 inches and all rainbows. Each time the fly was cleaned of the algae it produced a strike almost immediately. Had better days, but this was plenty of fun. See you out there.
