Wanted to change it up a little...Tapps I think is done for me this year so thought I'd try to get some dinner fillets. Perch hunting on the agenda. Found a huge school on the North side of the island just out from the Public launch on the south end of the lake. Fished that area most of the day. Caught about 50, 5-8 inch perch this lake is just loaded with these. Ridiculous!!! Eventually got 4 -12 inch perch nice fattties. Perfect sandwich sized critters...Water temp was 55 degrees. Sunny with not a whole lot of wind. Nice day for late Rocktober...fish were in 35-50 feet of water. Use your depth finder and look for the drop off and weeds the fish are there and are feeding.
