Fish On!
3/3/2008 10:45:00 PMI left Quincy Lake this morning. Drove by Burke on the way out and the west half of the lake is open now. Quincy is about 1/4 open on the east end. You can walk in from the end of the access road and find open water. Spoke to several that fished Quincy on the opener and they limited with nice size fish. I caught 2 yesterday and they were small IMHO, but good pan size and fat. 10-11 inches. The fish I saw at Burke were smaller. Won't take too long or a good wind to break all the ice up.
