Another day of work, but I planned on fishing after the work was over. I trolled for about two hours, threw lures for about an hour, and had one lost fish and one 3# released to show for it.
I noticed that early in the morning, near the Mitigation Area Boat Ramp, that there were a few fish being caught. Most were catching on dark flies, while the current was flowing. After the current stopped, the fish were few and far between.
I saw a lot of marks on my fish finder, but they were at about 40' in 45' of water, so I think the ultra clear water, low current, and generally clear skies put the fish down. It probably picked up in the later afternoon, but I had to get home.
