Hey everybody. Well as many of you know, they just stocked Battle Ground Lake on Monday, and the fishing is excellent. Bank fisherman using lures, flies and bait have been doing good, but those trolling in boats have been averaging ten to twenty fish and hour. Most of the fish are hanging on the surface, so don't troll very deep. The fish are very active and hit and fight hard with lots of jumping and surface thrashing. It won't be long until the cormorants get in on the action and send the fish to the bottom where they will then hit powerbait. The plant of 2000 fish was not a surprise to many who were wondering when they were going to stock it. I plan to fish this weekend in my 14' Gregor boat if anyone wants to join me, just post a response with your phone number and i will try to get a hold of you. I plan to fish from opening till dusk, and have all the necessary gear for you to catch fish. The game plan is to troll hardware and catch lots of fish. Hope to see you on the water soon. Oh, they also stocked Klineline with 2000 browns and this weekend they will hold the annual Klineline fishing derby. Hope to see you there! Tight Lines!

well i am very intrested in doin some trolling since i never done it before but i did just get a boat and soon i will get it on the water soon enough so what day were you planning on going saturday or sunday ........ i work at 5pm on sat and have sun day off......i have plans on gettin up really early tomarrow to klineline .....you said they planted but the report says the 3rd of april an the way the planting is goin its once a week so they should plant in the morrning so therefore i will be there at sunrise....... or maybe battleground lake since you gave such a good report anyways my number is 360 828 9481 and my name is josh
