Well weather finally gave me a chance to go fishing. Decided to go to American in hopes the good fishing came back. I had many many bites, but only landed 1. The one that I landed I just had super slack line and let the fish play around with the bait for a while because there was no chance of setting the hook on these fish. They're all very small. Barely keepable. Just fished off Harry Todd's dock(right next to Bills Boathouse) with powerbait 2 feet off the bottom. Other anglers seemed to be having the same problem, lots of bites but impossible to hook. Good thing about this lake is that you always know you will get a bite.

i think the fishing will pick up more after a few weeks when the water gets warmer. hopefully the bigger fish will come closer to the shore.

well right now you cant go more than 10 minutes without getting a bite. Theres alot of fish but all very small. But yeah hopefully the big fish start to become more active, then trolling will be alot more effective.
